The Runway Capacity Module
The Runway Capacity Analyzer module is now called Runway Capacity, to reflect a clearer, more direct description of what the module is capable of. This update is name-only and does not affect functionality for existing users.
Software compatibility and feature enhancements
AirTOP 2026 now runs on Java 21, delivering a more responsive interface, stronger long‑term stability, and improved performance when handling multiple tasks.
A new Airside Aircraft module feature allows users to automatically detect and log aircraft stand‑off durations with the default reports when aircraft stop at or queue near a stand-off position. With delays visualized separately from taxi and runway delays, users now get clearer insight into apron congestion to more efficiently plan and analyze performance.
Enhancements to ApproachLeg in the TMA/TRACON module offer more flexibility when configuring vectoring strategies during approach and enhance continuous descent operations.
Terminal Module updates
These updates to the AirTOP Terminal module improve accuracy and efficiency in passenger process modeling.
- The schedule importer now includes optional duration window controls and support for TerminalProcessorScheduleRule, ensuring schedules are assigned within valid time ranges, improving reliability for airlines without callsigns.
- QueuePath reports now include a MaxQueueingLength metric, giving a clearer and more accurate view of actual queue lengths for congestion and passenger flow analysis.
- Passenger travel times can now be set directly on the AircraftDoor, simplifying and improving simulation accuracy for remote stands and bus transfers.

MapData layers (SHP/RST) are now visible in the 3D View and aligned to the correct FloorLevel, improving spatial clarity and accelerating layout validation.
